Our MIS faculty are internationally recognized experts. They conduct cutting-edge research that seeks new knowledge and innovative solutions to real-world problems. Known for their high-ranking research, our MIS faculty explore a variety of topics, such as IT security, data analytics, software testing, IT business strategy, healthcare IT, artificial intelligence, online communities, IT ethics and IT use in nonprofit organizations. Many of the department’s award-winning faculty serve on editorial boards and as consultants to federal, state government, private and nonprofit organizations. Our MIS faculty are student-oriented and are dedicated to ensuring that MIS students gain the knowledge and skills to be effective IT managers and leaders.
