Law School Seat Deposit Information

 

To reserve your seat in the fall incoming class, you must pay the $250 seat deposit by the due date provided in your admissions email. All admitted students will receive a seat deposit payment instruction email to the same email address used in the application. 

For those students admitted before April 1, the payment is due by end of day, April 15.

For those students admitted after April 1, the payment is due two weeks after your admission email is received.

The seat deposit is non-refundable. $200 of the payment will be applied toward your fall tuition. 

TIP: Avoid the processing fee for debit/credit cards by using your bank account information. 

Step 1

Initialize your University of Memphis account to establish your myMemphis portal and email login. Instructions on how to initialize your Memphis email account is sent within one week of acceptance. 
Note: If you are currently enrolled at the University of Memphis, you do not need to complete this step.

Step 2

  1. Login to your myMemphis portal
  2. Select TigerXpress/Payments
  3. Select Make a Payment
  4. Select Law School Seat Deposit
  5. Click Add to Payment
  6. Select Checkout to enter payment method
  7. Select Continue to confirm payment
