Annual Evaluation


This page outlines the steps for faculty evaluation, provides user manuals for faculty and all levels of administration, and indicates the current deadline for all evaluations.

Faculty Evaluation of Chairs and Directors

  • The Faculty Evaluation of Chairs and Directors will be in a new format for 2026. Specific open/close dates and additional information will be announced soon. 

Faculty Annual Report and Evaluation

Faculty Performance Appraisals training is strongly recommended. See the monthly breakdown for the annual report and evaluation for faculty.

Faculty do the following:

  • Prepare annual report using these guidelines.

  • Update curriculum vitae.

  • Download and review SETE evaluations and associated comments from the prior year. Attach SETE evaluations and associated comments to their annual report.

  • Submit annual report using the faculty evaluation form (new link coming) by the end of January.

Evaluator prepares faculty evaluations using these best practices and schedules evaluation and planning meetings by end of March.

Faculty review annual evaluation and have the opportunity to provide comments on their annual evaluation.

Faculty must submit their comments by the end of March.

Evaluator and Approver review and approve faulty evaluations by the end of April.

Notifications sent by Approver to faculty needing to develop performance improvement plans or to participate in post-tenure review as detailed in the Faculty Handbook.
