The Summer Scholarship program helps eligible students get ahead academically while saving money by covering part of the cost of summer coursework, all while enjoying the flexibility of the summer term.

Scholarship Details

Award Amount: $500 (maximum)
Applied directly to your student account once eligibility and enrollment requirements are met.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, students must:

• Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
• Be enrolled in an University of Memphis undergraduate, degree-seeking program
• Have completed fewer than 60 credit hours
  (Includes hours completed through Fall 2025 plus any attempted or completed during Spring 2026)
• Be in good academic standing

Participation Requirements

To receive the scholarship, students must:

• Register for one summer course (3 credit hours) for Summer 2026
• Complete the course during any summer part of term
• Register before the summer term begins to allow time for the scholarship to be applied and reflected on your eBill

Please note:

• This scholarship cannot be applied to TN eCampus courses
