International applicants will need to fulfill these additional admissions requirements
International Transcript Evaluation
Evaluations for all non-US transcripts are not required by default. If an evaluation is needed, the admissions committee will notify you. However, it is required to include the official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities with your application.
Official transcripts must be sent directly from the Registrar of your previously attended college or university to the University of Memphis Graduate Admissions Office, following the instructions on the UofM Graduate Admissions website.
Language Proficiency Requirement
As per Graduate Admissions requirements, acceptable English proficiency test scores are as followed and should be submitted electronically through the organizations websites.
- Duolingo English Test
- 110 or higher on the overall score.
- School Code = 1459
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
- 550 or higher on the paper version
- 80 or higher on the internet-based test
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
- 6.5 or higher
- 6.5 or higher
- PTE (Pearson Test of English)
- 59 or higher
- 59 or higher
Other Requirements
- Graduate Admissions requires you to provide evidence of financial support with your application.
- Once admitted, you will need to satisfy health related requirements.
