Spring 2026 Calendar

 

Please note that all Course Fees and Material Fees are non-refundable after the start of the first day of the course.  Carefully review the registration dates and corresponding fee payment deadlines below.  If students are not planning to attend, courses should be dropped promptly to avoid owing fees.     

November 10

Priority Registration for Spring 2026 begins (Space Availability Registration is December 23, 2025. See below for more details.)

November 12

GA Contracts due to Graduate School. Late contracts will incur a $200 late fee paid by the department. 

December 1

Employment Certification for fee waivers and discount forms must be completed, signed, and dated no earlier than December 1.

Note:  All forms must be received by the end of the term. 

December 5

eBills available online on TigerXpress for all students enrolled in any Spring 2026 courses.

Installment Payment Plan for Spring 2026 opens.

Students will be notified by email (U of M email address) when eBills are available and by text messaging if signed up on TigerXpress to receive text messages. Official Notifications and viewing eBills available online on TigerXpress.

December 11

Fee Payment Deadline for Spring 2026 (Winter Session courses only) by 4:30 p.m.

December 18

Winter Session courses begin

December 23

First day UofM, TBR, UT, other state colleges and universities, and state employees (PC191) fee waiver participants, students or Senior Citizen Reduced Tuition for Credit (Seniors 65 years old)/Tuition Waiver for Elite Auditors (Seniors 60 years old) may register for Spring classes.      

Note: Students who register prior to this date will be denied the opportunity to use a space-available fee waiver program for this semester.    

December 23- January 16

BAPP (Bookstore Advance Payment Plan) will be available for all students.

January 6

Fee Payment Deadline for Spring 2026 semester by 4:30 p.m.

First installment of the Installment Payment Plan due by 4:30 p.m.

January 7

"Save my Seat" emails sent out to confirm attendance for Spring 2026 classes

$200 Late Fee Begins for Student Initial Registration

January 12

Financial Aid will begin to disburse to student accounts.

January 13

First drop for all accounts not paid in full or enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan.

January 16

Refunds from excess financial aid will begin to process.

January 27

Final drop for all accounts not paid in full or enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan. 

January 28- January 30

Late registration begins. Must prepay 50% of the student account balance and have instructor approval for course registration.

January 30

Last day to opt out of Tiger Smart Start.

Last day to make meal plan adjustments.

Last day to opt out of health insurance.

Last day to register for the Spring 2026 term. 

February 1

Second installment of the Installment Payment Plan due.

March 1

Third installment of the Installment Payment Plan due.

April 1

Fourth installment of the Installment Payment Plan due. All balances for the Spring 2026 semester should be paid in full.

  Second Part-of-Term Tennessee eCampus classes follow the Fee/Adjustment deadlines. 

PLEASE NOTE: 

  • All courses must be paid in full by the designated Fee Payment Deadline. If you are enrolled in a combination of terms, i.e. a full term class and 2POT class, your payment deadline would be the payment deadline for your earliest term. You do not have two separate payment deadlines.
  • Students who decide not to attend must drop that course(s) from their schedule. 
  • Fees adjustments will be refunded based on the day of the drop and the University fee adjustment schedule.
  • When making schedule adjustments, courses may evenly exchange ONLY if they are the same number of hours, for the same part-of-term, and are both UofM courses (TN eCampus courses do not qualify).  Course/Material fees may still apply.

The University reserves the right to make changes to the schedule as necessary to be consistent with University policies and procedures.
