Parent & Family Weekend FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

When is Parent & Family Weekend 2025?
Parent & Family Weekend 2025 is Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26 in conjunction with the UofM Homecoming! That means more energy, more events, and even more ways to show your Tiger pride. From the roar of game day to special campus traditions, this will be a weekend to remember.

I have the Go Blue or Go Gray Package. Do I need to attend all of the events on the schedule?
To receive the maximum value for your package, we encourage attendees to make plans to attend all of our signature events. Regardless, attendance is not required and you can feel free to choose the events that you want to attend with or without your student. This weekend is yours to spend with your student and enjoy the University of Memphis. Parent and Family Weekend name badges must be visibly worn and presented to staff to access any and all events that are a part of Parent and Family Weekend.

How do I register, and what is included with my registration package?
Each family member who wants to participate in Parent & Family Weekend must register online on the University's Athletic ticketing site powered by GOFEVO.COM. The registration fee allows participation in all of the activities on the schedule of events unless otherwise noted. The all-inclusive registration package is available for adult and youth participants. Learn More/Register>>

Do I need to buy a package for my UofM student? What events can my UofM student attend?
The short answer is - No, Your UofM student is included with your registration. Your package includes access for your enrolled UofM student to Parent and Family Weekend events, but does not include a t-shirt for them or a football game ticket for them. Students can attend the game for free with their UofM ID, but must sit in the designated student section. If you would like your student to sit with you at the football game in the PFW section, you will need to purchase a separate football ticket for them. You may also purchase a t-shirt for your student during the registration process.

Can I bring my younger children and siblings?
Parent and Family Weekend is for the entire family and not just parents. Many families will bring siblings of all ages, grandparents, aunts, uncles... everyone! Please keep in mind that all family members, regardless of age, must be registered in order to participate in the scheduled events.

A separate Youth Package is available for children ages 4-12 years old. It includes entrance to all Parent & Family Weekend events, 1 tailgate ticket, and 1 football ticket in the Parent & Family Weekend section. However, it DOES NOT include a T-shirt (can be purchased separately). Youth 13 years and older will need to register for the Go Tigers Go package. Youth must attend with a parent, family member or guardian. Children 3 years old and younger can attend the football game for free as long as they sit on the lap of the parent or guardian.

We have another guest who would like to attend just one event, so can I buy a separate ticket for them to attend that one event?
No. All of our events are exclusive to the Parent & Family Weekend (PFW) registration packages. We do not sell tickets for entry to individual events, unless otherwise noted. You are welcome to purchase a Parent and Family Weekend package for each family member and friends who would like to attend one or all PFW events.

Why is the price on the FEVO site higher than the advertised ticket/shirt prices?
The prices shown on our website are the base prices only. Like most game or concert ticket platforms, the FEVO platform adds on processing fee for each item in your cart. The higher prices shown on the FEVO site reflect the total ticket/shirt price (including both the base price and the FEVO fee. To see a price summary showing the base and fee breakdown, click the "information" icon next to the price for each package.

My cart reset itself before I could checkout. Why did this happen? Why is the price on the FEVO site higher than the advertised ticket/shirt prices?
The FEVO site has an automatic timer for the purchasing process. The timer gives you five (5) minute window of time to complete the transaction. When the time is close to expiring, you will see an onscreen pop-up where you can choose to restart the timer (extending your current purchasing session by another five (5) minutes). When that time expires, your cart will refresh and reset, and you will need to start the ordering process over.

Why is the price on the FEVO site higher than the advertised ticket/shirt prices?
GOFEVO.COM adds on a ticket processing fee as well as sales tax to each item. The prices displayed on their site include our base ticket price, plus their fee and sales tax. Neither sales tax or GOFEVO.COM fees go to Parent and Family Services.

Are refunds available?
Due to the nature of event planning and budget obligations, we are unable to offer refunds for Parent & Family Weekend registration. All sales are final.
