Summer Scholarship Eligibility Rules and Regulations

To be eligible, students must be:

• U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree a seeking program.
• Be in Good Academic Standing.
• Completed less than 60 credit hours (completed through Fall 2025 + any hours attempted/completed during Spring 2026)

The University of Memphis will post these scholarships directly to the accounts of all eligible students based on summer course registration starting April 21st.

To participate:

To receive the scholarship, students must:

• Register for one summer course (3 credit hours) for Summer 2026
• Complete the course during any summer part of term
• Register before the summer term begins to allow time for the scholarship to be applied and reflected on your eBill

Please note:

• This scholarship cannot be applied toward TN eCampus courses.

Additional considerations:

• Changes to enrollment after any of the summer financial initiatives have been applied to a student’s account may impact the student’s eligibility for the scholarship.
• Students should contact the Scholarships Office before any summer enrollment change to determine if the change might affect their scholarship.
• The Scholarship Office reserves the right to review, reduce, or cancel awards due to changes in financial standing, academic or program status, or receipt of any additional aid.

• Talk to your academic advisor to coordinate summer and fall registration
• Log into the myMemphis portal to check Scholarship eligibility after April 21, 2026.
