CONFERENCE ASSISTANT JOB SUMMARY:

A summer Conference Assistant (CA) is a live-in student employment position offered by the Department of Housing and Residence Life. CAs can earn up to 37.5 hours a week, as part of the Department's summer staff team. Conference Assistants must be mature students, with strong communication skills and a desire to learn how to work in a multifaceted setting. CAs are the front-line customer service staff for Summer Conference Operations and report directly to the Graduate Assistants, Residence Life Coordinators and Assistant Directors for Housing and Residence Life.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be a student enrolled at The University of Memphis and registered as a full-time student in good academic standing for Fall 2024.

COMPENSATION

  • Form must be submitted within the CA/FA application
• Three (3) CA Reference Forms
  • If you currently live on campus, one reference form must be completed by your current RA.
    • Family members and friends may not complete a reference form.
