UofM SPH Represented at Uptown Joint Agency Partnership Meeting Sponsored by Memphis Mayor’s Office

September 16, 2025 – The University of Memphis (UofM) School of Public Health (SPH) Community Outreach Representative Steve Shular attended the monthly Uptown Joint Agency Partnership meeting sponsored by the Memphis Mayor’s Office. 

The meeting is held on the third Tuesday of every month at BRIDGES USA — a youth services organization. The Uptown Community Partnership focuses on crime and blight concerns voiced by residents and business owners in the neighborhood just north of downtown Memphis. 

Mr. Shular updated the group about the UofM SPH’s public health clubs at several area high schools and internship opportunities that SPH students are partaking in.
