UofM School of Public Health Highlights Growth at Crump Boulevard Business Association Meeting

May 21, 2025 – Steve Shular, Community Relations Representative for the University of Memphis School of Public Health (SPH), addressed members of the Crump Boulevard Business Association during their monthly meeting on May 21.

During his presentation, Shular highlighted a significant increase in enrollment at the School of Public Health, along with the growth of faculty-led research initiatives. He also shared that the School has recently been ranked among the Top 100 Schools of Public Health in the nation by U.S. News & World Report—a notable milestone that reflects the School's expanding impact on both a local and national level.

The Crump Boulevard Business Association meeting, held monthly, brings together representatives from more than 15 area businesses, along with officials from various City of Memphis and Shelby County government departments and community organizations. Shular’s remarks emphasized the School's commitment to community engagement and its mission to address public health challenges through education, research, and collaboration.
