About Prof. Ashley Perks

Prof. Ashley Perks is currently the senior communications writer at the American Registry for Internet Numbers, focusing on audience strategy and engagement innovation. Before joining ARIN, she served as the Creative and Special Projects Director for The Hill, a political publication based in Washington, DC. In that role, she was responsible for creative and product strategy, and helped elevate The Hill from a niche Beltway publication to a national political powerhouse. She also routinely consults with local news organizations on their editorial design strategies and specializes in generational-based audience engagement.

Prof. Perks lives in the Washington, DC, area with her partner and three cats. She enjoys reading, tending to her houseplants, and video games.
