Credit for Prior Learning

Credit by Exam Opportunities

The College of Health Sciences appreciates the knowledge and skills that students bring to the program. Accordingly, students can be awarded college-level credit by passing a comprehensive exam. This option can help to significantly reduce program costs and timeline to degree completion.

Enrolled/admitted undergraduate students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0. The fee is $60 per course. Fees must be paid prior to the examination and are non-refundable.

Letter of Recommendation

Applying for scholarship or job and need an official letter of recommendation? Complete this fom and attach your resume to request a recommendation from a faculty or staff member within the College of Health Sciences. Please allow at least two weeks to complete your request.

Student Complaint Procedures

For complaints related to academic courses, course instruction and/or faculty/instructors within the College of Health Sciences, please follow these steps:

1. Email the faculty member/instructor outlining the details of the complaint to see if it can be resolved via
   email.
2. If not resolved in step 1, schedule a time to meet with the faculty member/instructor to discuss the
   issue.
3. If not resolved in steps 1 or 2, schedule a meeting with the academic program coordinator.
4. If the program coordinator is unable to resolve the complaint, the student may request a meeting with the college dean.

For complaints related to College of Health Sciences administration (customer service), course curriculum, advising and/or policy
concerns, please follow these steps:

1. Email us outlining the details of the complaint to see if it can be
   resolved via email.
2. If not resolved in step 1, schedule a time to meet and discuss.
3. If the matter is not resolved in steps 1 or 2, the student may request a meeting with our college dean.
