The Dean has responsibility for administering the College of Arts & Sciences, including the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy and the Departments of Anthropology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Earth Sciences, English, History, Mathematical Sciences, Philosophy, Physics and Materials Science, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and World Languages and Literatures. The position also has responsibility for administering the Center for Earthquake Research (CERI), Interdisciplinary programs, and the Marcus Orr Center for the Humanities (MOCH), and for the administration of the University's Air Force, Army, and Naval ROTC Programs. | Roger J Kreuz - Associate Dean |

The Associate Dean in the College of Arts & Sciences assists the Dean with all matters pertaining to the administration of the College. He serves in an advisory capacity to the Dean. The Associate Deans work directly with the Dean on recruitment, hiring, budget development and resource allocation, program and curriculum development, and other issues related to the College of Arts & Sciences administration. Associate Dean Kreuz serves as the Dean's liaison to the social science departments in the College of Arts & Sciences and those interdisciplinary programs oriented toward the social sciences. He oversees the Governor's School and the International and Global Studies program. The Assistant Dean in the College of Arts & Sciences assists the Dean with all matters pertaining to the administration of the College. She serves in an advisory capacity to the Dean. The Assistant Dean works directly with the Dean on recruitment, hiring, budget development and resource allocation, program and curriculum development, and other issues related to the College of Arts & Sciences administration. Assistant Dean Menson-Furr is the Dean's liaison to the Humanities Departments in the College of Arts & Sciences and those humanities-oriented interdisciplinary programs. She also manages enrollment for the College of Arts & Sciences, oversees the allocation of several college-level awards and student scholarships in the College of Arts & Sciences, chairs the CAS Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, and serves as the College of Arts & Sciences representative to the University Undergraduate Council. The Web Specialist II supports evaluations and research processes within the college,
designs and maintains the CAS website and oversees over 60 sites within the college,
including academic and research/grant programs. The Web Specialist II provides support
to the dean's office, CAS Marketing Director, and Web Specialist II, assisting departments
with general updates, online form management and registration of various events.

The Director of Administration is responsible for acting on behalf of the Dean, serving
as a liaison to department chairs, division directors, administrative personnel, Board
of Advisors members, and students. She also oversees College faculty and staff recruitment
and provides the Dean with information about pertinent laws, regulations and rules.
She coordinates the College's Tenure and Promotion process each year and conducts
special research projects for the Dean.

The Director of Development guides the Dean regarding opportunities to enhance and
grow the college's financial resources. Working closely with the Dean and the Advisory
Board, the Director focuses on providing College alumni and friends with opportunities
to connect with and support the College, its students, and its faculty through the
establishment of scholarships, assistantships, and community partnerships.
The Academic Services Coordinator I is assigned to the Undergraduate Advising Center
and is responsible for certifying undergraduate students for graduation.






As an Academic Services Coordinator I, Tracy, processes curriculum changes for students
in the College of Arts and Sciences and work with students to prepare them for graduation.
The Administrative Associate II
The financial services associate provides the department chair with comprehensive
administrative and operational support. She manages financial operations, human resources,
and student recruitment while ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
