Ensure the Future of the Mellon Humanities Internship Program

The Mellon Humanities Internship Program is supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, which awarded a $3.9 million grant to the College of Arts and Sciences to provide otherwise unpaid internships for up to 145 students each year. Students who secure internship positions are also eligible for wraparound services, including transportation stipends, child/elder care assistance, and support with obtaining professional attire.

The grant also includes an additional $1 million — which must be matched through fundraising by the UofM — to set up an endowment to support humanities internships in perpetuity. Your support will ensure that students continue to benefit from these invaluable internship opportunities for generations to come.
