Campus Card

The UofM Mobile ID is available to all enrolled students, faculty and current employees. Tap your iPhone, Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy or other eligible Android phones at readers across campus to conveniently use your UofM Mobile ID. Your UofM Mobile ID acts just like your physical card, and now you can add it to your preferred digital wallet. Most users can begin using their UofM Mobile ID on their phone in minutes. An approved photo is required and must have a current association with the university, for example, an enrolled student or active employee.

Step 1: Photo Submission/Preparation

  • If you haven’t done so already, set up your UUID and multi-factor authentication login at iam.memphis.edu.
  • Once you have received your University of Memphis UUID, please submit your photo to be displayed on your UofM Mobile ID.  Click here to upload a photo for your UofM Mobile ID.
  • Photos will generally be approved within two business days.

Step 2: Add your UofM Mobile ID to your digital wallet

  • Open your App Store and search “Transact eAccounts." Or click here: Apple | Google Play
  • Ensure “NFC” is turned on. If you have an iPhone, ensure your iCloud is turned on and the latest iCloud Terms & Conditions are approved.
  • Click through the startup screen and search “University of Memphis”
  • Sign in with your UofM UUID
  • Click on the “Add to Wallet” button and follow the prompts to add to your digital wallet.
  • Agree to the terms & conditions.

If your iPhone is older than iPhone 8 and is not a supported device, the Campus Card Office will issue a physical Campus ID card to you. Please contact campuscard@memphis.edu to request a card.
If you do not own a smartphone, the Campus Card Office will issue a physical Campus ID card to you. Please contact campuscard@memphis.edu to request a card.
No, it will not automatically transfer. You will need to remove your UofM Mobile ID from your old device before adding it to your new device. You can also remove your Mobile ID from appleid.apple.com, which will allow you to remove all passes in your Apple Wallet.
If you have any of the iPhone XS, XS Max or XR models, yes. Express Mode with power reserve is available for up to five hours when your phone needs to be charged. Other iPhone models (iPhone 8 and earlier) do not offer this feature.
No. The old ID cards will no longer work for door access.
  • Account balances are currently only displayed on Apple and Samsung Galaxy devices.
  • If your account balance(s) are $0, they will not display until funds are added.
  • If you have available funds that are not displaying, please contact the Campus Card Office at: campuscard@memphis.edu.
A negative balance can occur if you make a transaction when a retail device is offline. When the device comes back online and the transaction is posted, you will see a negative balance if there are not enough funds in your account to cover the transaction.
Return to the location of the sale and ask the store to issue a refund to your credit card, then process the transaction against your Campus Card.
As with your physical Campus Card, your UofM Mobile ID will become inactive when you no longer meet eligibility requirements. If you transfer to another participating program or department at the UofM, your credentials will stay active and be updated accordingly.

We recommend you retain your physical Campus Card in a secure location as a back-up should you lose a device.
Your physical Campus Card will no longer work for door access. However, you will still be able to use it at some point-of-sale locations until it is retired in the future. Remember, the UofM Mobile ID is a privilege and benefit of being part of the University of Memphis community. Anyone found to be misusing their physical card or UofM Mobile ID will be subject to the applicable Code of Conduct or HR policies regarding fraud and/or misconduct.
No. As long as your enrollment status meets our eligibility requirements, devices you have enrolled will remain current. For security purposes, we may deactivate devices that have not been used for an extended period. You can re-enroll those devices whenever you wish.
Yes, you will need to install the updated version of the Transact eAccounts mobile app.
On your device, visit the App Store or Google Play Store and search Transact eAccounts. The store will prompt you to install any required updates.
Confirm your device is not in Airplane Mode or experiencing any other service interruption. Updates cannot be made when there is no connecting service to sync data between Transact eAccounts and your device. The Transact eAccounts app will display the most current information.

How do I update information on my UofM Mobile ID?

Name information on the UofM Mobile ID is updated from the university’s core business systems and needs to be updated there. Students should contact the Registrar’s Office. Faculty and staff should contact their HR representative to request updates. Once changes are completed, the updates will sync to the UofM Mobile ID on your phone within 48 hours.


Securing Your Account
  • During regular business hours, contact the Campus Card Office at campuscard@memphis.edu to request that we deactivate your UofM Mobile ID. Be sure to specify whether the physical card, watch and/or phone version of the card should be deactivated. Any device not specified to be suspended will remain active.
  • If applicable, identify the fraudulent activity. For purchases using TigerEats, Flex Bucks, TigerFunds or Door Access, contact the Police Services at police@memphis.edu and report the suspected fraud.
  • In the Transact eAccounts app:
    • Click the settings gear in the upper right corner. 
    • Select the Card Management option.
    • Choose the credential you want to deactivate and toggle it off.
    • You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be deactivated. All other credentials will remain active.
  • In the Transact eAccounts web version:
    • Select Card Services
    • Select Deactivate Card
    • Select the credential to deactivate and click on “Deactivate Card.”
    • You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be deactivated. All other credentials will remain active.

To reactivate a found device that was suspended, perform the following steps. In the Transact eAccounts App:

  • Select the Card Management option.
  • Choose the credential you want to reactivate and toggle it on.
  • You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be reactivated.

In the Transact eAccounts Web Version:

  • Select Card Services
  • Select Activate Card
  • Select the credential to reactivate
  • You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be reactivated.
