Autism Clinic
UofM Autism Treatment, Training and Research Clinic
At the University of Memphis Autism Treatment, Training and Research Clinic, our team of licensed Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s) and graduate students utilizes practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to make positive changes in the behavior and life of children we serve and their families and caregivers.
- Works in an interdisciplinary team model where feedback from caregivers, school, and other stakeholders plays a major role in deciding on short and long-term goals for each child to assure their success across different settings.
- Offers parent and caregiver training to provide families with tools and methods that may support them at home and ensure consistency in taught skills across different settings.
- Provides consultation and valuable resources from experienced therapists to help siblings and parents learn how to manage stress, as well as offer counseling to monitor and support the well-being of the family. These services are offered in a variety of settings—including the clinic, the child’s school, in the home, or other community-based environments—based on what best supports each child’s unique needs and goals
