CAPTAIN MAYS

Capt Myah Mays is currently an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies and Recruiting Officer for Air Force ROTC Detachment 785, at the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. He is responsible for recruiting, educating, training, and developing officer candidates into Air and Space Force commissioned officers through a comprehensive college program comprised of service doctrine, academic instruction, physical fitness and practical leadership experiences.
Capt Mays entered the Air Force in May 2017, receiving her commissioning from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado. She has served on active duty for nine years, and has held various positions to include, Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, Flight Commander and Deputy Director.
Prior to her current position, Capt Mays was the Chief of Manpower and Readiness, assigned to Headquarters Fifteenth Air Force at Shaw Air Force Base, SC.
