Jabir Rahman is a MIS Ph.D. student at the University of Memphis. He received his bachelor's degree in Petroleum and Mining Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh and his master's degree in Geophysics from the University of Memphis.
Jabir is interested in data analysis and machine learning and has research experience in data analytics. His M.S. thesis used geophysical data analysis to determine bedrock depth in Ste. Genevieve, MO to understand the region's seismological settings. His programming skills include Python, R, SAC, Shell Scripting, Matlab and JAVA as well as MS office.
