Continued Modified Lambuth Campus Operations on Feb. 6 | Memphis-area locations continue normal operations on Feb. 6

The University of Memphis Lambuth Campus will remain in modified campus operations — including remote classes and work for students, faculty and staff — on Friday, Feb. 6. The Lambuth Campus will return to normal operations with in-person classes and work on Monday, Feb. 9.

The following information applies ONLY to the Lambuth Campus for Friday, Feb. 6. All Memphis-area locations have returned to normal operations.

Online Course Delivery

Faculty will deliver courses that were scheduled for in-person instruction through asynchronous online delivery when feasible on Friday, Feb. 6. All synchronous online courses have returned to synchronous delivery and will meet at the regularly scheduled time.

Faculty will make reasonable accommodations for any disruption of technology or access to course materials that may be required by students during this period. Faculty will communicate directly with students regarding any specific instructions or adjustments to coursework. 

Any exceptions for in-person delivery of courses must be approved by the responsible College/School Dean or equivalent academic unit administrator with concurrence by the Provost during this period of modified campus operations.

All in-person classes will return to regularly scheduled on-campus instruction on Monday, Feb. 9.

Employee Expectations

All UofM Lambuth employees are expected to work remotely where applicable on Friday, Feb. 6. Employees whose functions cannot be performed remotely, or who encounter difficulties working remotely, should consult their supervisor. Employees are encouraged to visit the Modified Campus Operations and Emergency Closing Information webpage for more information on University modified operations and/or closures.

Employees will return to in-person work on Monday, Feb. 9.

Campus Events

Campus activities and events at the UofM Lambuth are canceled or postponed through Friday, Feb. 6.

Emergency Crucial Services

Emergency crucial services — including campus police, limited facilities operations and other services for residence hall students — will be available on-site. Dining options on the Lambuth Campus will be available at the Blue Gray Cafe from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6.
